Thailand has granted visa-free travel to 93 countries to promote tourism

Thailand will allow visa-free entrance into 93 countries beginning July 15, and travelers will be able to remain in 57 regions for up to 60 days without a visa, according to the Ministry of Interior.

Countries that qualify for visa exemptions will welcome visitors for short-term business purposes, while the number of territories eligible for visas on arrival will rise from 19 to 31. According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, foreign visitor arrivals to Thailand climbed by 35% between 2023 and July 7, 2024, earning 858 billion Thai baht. The majority of Thai visitors are Chinese, with many coming from Malaysia and India.
